Can I order a tile sample before purchasing and are they a good representation?

Yes. We offer FREE samples on selected products, which can be ordered directly from the product page. You can collect your sample from one of our showrooms for free, or have it delivered for £4.95. There is a maximum of 3 samples in one box, when ordering online.

We recommend ordering a sample so you can see the colour, finish and texture in your own home before placing a larger order.

The samples we send out are a small off-cut from a larger tile, so it’s a great reference for the general look, feel and finish of the tile, but may not always show the full variation. In particular, natural stone can feature differing tones, veining and patterns from piece to piece, so we advise against using the sample for an exact match.

Please be aware that batches can differ slightly, so we advise you to double-check your tiles before installation. We recommend ordering an additional 10% to cover any cuts and wastage, and any spares you may need in the future. The reason for these variations is down to the manufacturing process, kiln temperature, changes in glaze mix, calibration differences, and varying shades.

We always encourage visiting our showrooms to view our displays, or seeing our images online.

How should I clean and maintain my tiles?

Natural stone requires the correct care and maintenance to keep it looking its best. We recommend using suitable pH-neutral cleaning products and avoiding acidic, abrasive or harsh household cleaners. Natural stone may also require sealing and periodic resealing to help protect against staining and moisture.

Will every tile have the same pattern?

Not always. Many porcelain and natural stone tiles feature multiple face patterns to recreate the natural variation found in stone. This creates a more authentic and realistic finished appearance.

Do I need anything else with my tiles?

A suitable tile adhesive will be required.

Grout colour can play an important role in the overall finish of a room. By matching grout and tile colours, you can create a complementary finish, whereas contrasting colours make for a more dynamic design.

We stock and supply all the tools and materials required for the installation of any job, from wetrooms to outdoor porcelain.

How will my tiles be delivered?

We hold the majority of our tiles in stock so delivery is usually 1-2 working days, for Mainland UK. Delivery is charged by the pallet, and dependant on your postcode.
Standard delivery of tiles are made by Palletways to a kerbside location. If there is an accessible delivery point that can be safely accessed using a pump truck then, at the delivery driver’s discretion, the pallet may be left there.
As the pallet will be moved by a manually operated fork truck, we cannot collect or deliver pallets on gravel drives, steep hills or to locations not at ground level.
Please ensure that the named contact is available at the delivery point to meet the driver. A 2-hour delivery slot will be confirmed by our couriers on the morning of delivery.

Do your tiles come with a guarantee?

Many of our tiles are supplied with a manufacturer’s guarantee. Where applicable, the guarantee period is shown within the product specification.

Do you accept returns?

All unused or unwanted items can be returned within 28 days for a full refund, providing it is returned in original packaging and in a re-sellable condition. If returning tiles, they would need to be correctly packaged and sent on a pallet to avoid breakages.
